Connect Arketa to Reservd

Keep running your classes in Arketa. They show on Reservd with the right places left, customers book and pay on Reservd, and every booking goes straight into Arketa so a class is never overbooked. It takes about five minutes.

  1. 1. Make an API key in Arketa

    Sign in to your Arketa dashboard on a computer as the account owner. Go to Settings, then Integrations, and click Generate API Key. Copy the key straight away and keep it like a password. You paste it into Reservd once, and Reservd keeps it locked away.

  2. 2. Copy your partner ID

    Arketa's API knows your business by a partner ID, the part of the API address after /v0/. Arketa shows it with your key. If you can't find it, ask Arketa's support for your Partner API partner ID.

  3. 3. Connect Stripe on Reservd

    Customers pay by card on Reservd when they book, and the money goes straight to your bank. In your Reservd dashboard, open Arketa (or Settings, How customers book) and connect Stripe first.

  4. 4. Connect Arketa

    Paste your partner ID and API key, choose a drop-in price for new classes (Arketa doesn't share prices, so you set them on Reservd), then press Connect Arketa. If your Arketa account has more than one location, choose which one this business is. Your classes come across straight away.

Questions

How do you stop a class being overbooked?
Every few minutes Reservd reads each class's places and how many are booked in Arketa, and only sells what's free. Each Reservd booking is added to the class in Arketa as soon as it's paid, so the place is taken in both. A class that fills up in Arketa stops selling on Reservd.
Will my Reservd customers be in Arketa?
Yes. Each one is added to the class by name and email, so they're on your Arketa roster as a client. Arketa shows the booking without a purchase, because they paid on Reservd and the money is in your Stripe account.
What if I move or cancel a class in Arketa?
A moved class moves on Reservd and anyone booked is told. A cancelled class is cancelled on Reservd and customers get their money back by your usual rules.
Will Arketa email my customer too?
It might, depending on your Arketa notification settings. Reservd sends its own booking confirmation either way.
