Connect bsport to Reservd

Keep running your classes in bsport. They show on Reservd with the right places left, and customers book and pay for the places you choose on Reservd.

  1. 1. Ask bsport for Public API access

    Message your bsport account manager, or bsport support from your Back Office, and ask for Public API access for Reservd on your live (production) account.

  2. 2. Get three things back

    bsport sends an API key, a client ID and your company ID. Keep the API key private, like a password.

  3. 3. Connect Stripe on Reservd

    Customers pay by card on Reservd when they book, and the money goes straight to your bank. In your Reservd dashboard, open bsport (or Settings, How customers book) and connect Stripe first.

  4. 4. Paste them into Reservd

    Put all three into the form on this page with how many places each class sells on Reservd, then press Connect bsport.

  5. 5. Hold those places back in bsport

    bsport doesn't let other systems add bookings yet, so people who book on Reservd won't show in bsport. Lower each class's capacity in bsport by the places you sell here, so the two never sell the same place.

Questions

Do I need to change anything in bsport?
Only the places. Your bsport app, passes and memberships carry on as they are. Lower each class's capacity in bsport by the number of places you sell on Reservd, so the two never sell the same place.
Will my Reservd bookings show in bsport?
Not yet. bsport only lets other systems book someone who already holds one of your passes in bsport, so Reservd keeps its own bookings. You see who's coming on the class register in your Reservd dashboard. If bsport adds a way for partners to book, we'll switch it on and tell you.
How do you stop a class being overbooked?
Every few minutes Reservd reads how full each class is in bsport. Each class sells up to the places you choose, never more than bsport has free, and a class that fills up in bsport stops selling on Reservd. If bsport ends up with fewer places than are booked on Reservd, we email you.
How much do Reservd classes cost?
You set it. bsport classes are paid with passes, so they don't carry a price we can read. Classes come across at the drop-in price you choose when you connect, and you can change any class on Class types. Customers pay by card on Reservd and the money goes to your Stripe account.
What if I move or cancel a class in bsport?
A moved class moves on Reservd and anyone booked is told. A cancelled class is cancelled on Reservd and customers get their money back by your usual rules.
Does the API key expire?
It can. bsport sets the date. If it stops working we email you and your dashboard asks you to connect again with a new key from bsport.
