Connect Mindbody to Reservd

Keep running your classes in Mindbody. They show on Reservd with the right places left, customers book and pay on Reservd, and every booking goes straight into Mindbody so a class is never overbooked. It takes about five minutes, with the business owner's Mindbody login to hand.

  1. 1. Find your Mindbody Site ID

    Every Mindbody business has a Site ID, a number. It's the number after studioid= in the address of your Mindbody online booking page (clients.mindbodyonline.com), and Mindbody's support can tell you it too. You can paste the whole address into Reservd and it picks the number out.

  2. 2. Connect Stripe on Reservd

    Customers pay by card on Reservd when they book, and the money goes straight to your bank. In your Reservd dashboard, open Mindbody (or Settings, How customers book) and connect Stripe first.

  3. 3. Get your activation link

    Add your Site ID and a drop-in price for new classes, then press Get my activation link. Reservd asks Mindbody for your site's own activation link and code.

  4. 4. Approve Reservd in Mindbody

    Open the activation link while signed in to Mindbody as the business owner, and approve Reservd. Or, in Mindbody, open the API Integrations page and enter the activation code. This is how Mindbody lets an app read your classes: you never give Reservd your Mindbody password.

  5. 5. Finish on Reservd

    Back on Reservd, press I've approved Reservd. Your classes come across straight away. If your site has more than one location, choose the one this business is.

Questions

Do I need to change anything in Mindbody?
No. Your classes, clients, pricing options and Mindbody's own booking pages carry on as they are. Reservd is another place for people to find and book your classes.
How do you stop a class being overbooked?
Every 15 minutes Reservd reads each class's places left in Mindbody, including any limit you set on online bookings, and only sells what's free. Each Reservd booking goes into the class in Mindbody as soon as it's paid, after checking there's still a place, so the place is taken in both. A class that fills up in Mindbody stops selling on Reservd.
Will my Reservd customers be in Mindbody?
Yes. Each one is found as a client by their email, or added as a new client with Mindbody's emails to them off, and booked into the class. No pricing option is used in Mindbody: they paid on Reservd and the money is in your Stripe account.
What prices do classes have on Reservd?
Mindbody's pricing options aren't prices for a class, so each new kind of class starts at the drop-in price you choose. Change any of them on Class types.
What if I move or cancel a class in Mindbody?
A moved class moves on Reservd and anyone booked is told. A cancelled class is cancelled on Reservd and customers get their money back by your usual rules.
Will Mindbody email my customer too?
We ask Mindbody not to email them about bookings made on Reservd. Reservd sends its own booking confirmation and reminders.
Can I stop it?
Yes. Disconnect on the Mindbody page in Reservd, or take Reservd off the API Integrations page in Mindbody. Bookings already made stay where they are.
